Feverbox is a small business specialising in sex toys and other adult products, with an emphasis on products for women and relationship-building by couples.
We started retailing online in 2003 because we had been trying to find an internet based retail outlet from which to buy women's sex toys, and were disappointed by what we found. Many of the websites we found were off-putting, either because of the overtly sexual (and sexist) imagery and lurid descriptions, or because of poor navigation and design, and lack of secure payment facilities. We felt with our expertise in web development, customer service and retail, we could offer more... and so Feverbox was born.
Things have changed somewhat since then (we have grown!) but our original ethos - to provide an online sex toy site where you can shop in confidence for products that are tasteful and of good quality - hasn't changed.
Why shop with Feverbox?
Just because we are a small company, this doesn't mean to say you can't trust us to deliver on our promises. Of course we want our business to continue to grow and that is why we won't stint on our service (read some of our customer comments to see what people say about us).
Some other reasons for shopping with us include:
- We are tasteful. Slightly provocative sometimes, but always as tasteful as possible! We do not include explicit descriptions of products (which are often provided for marketing purposes by sex toy manufacturers!), and we try to provide non-explicit product pictures.
- We are discreet. Your credit card statement will read "SecureHosting - FB" and your order will be sent to you in unmarked packaging. Only you (and us) will know what the parcel contains.
- We have tapped into the expertise of SecureHosting and Lloyds TSB Cardnet for processing card payments. This means that you can rest assured that your credit card details are secure and safe.
- We use SSL on all pages where your personal details are transmitted. We ensure your personal details are encrypted at every step of the order process (not just when you make payment) - so your address, email details etc are secure.
- We are a legitimate business. Lloyds TSB have checked we are who we say we are, and they have validated our business account details and checked our authorised signatories.
- We emphasise quality, not quantity. All products are carefully selected. We look at factors such as quality, brand recognition, performance and desirability.
- The price you see is the price you pay - no VAT or other surcharges are added to the order total at the checkout - what you see in your shopping cart is what you will pay when you check out (plus postage). If your order is over £30 you will even benefit from free postage!
- Free batteries are included automatically. There can't be anything worse than receiving a new sex toy and finding you don't have the necessary batteries to use it! So we will include free batteries for products that require them (excluding 9 volt batteries).
